Apple apologises and issues iOS 8.0.2 software fix for iPhone bug

Apple has apologised to customers and released a fix for the iOS 8.0.1 software update bug that disabled some iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices.

According to Apple there were less than 40,000 iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus devices affected from the more than 10 million sold since launch last week.

The iOS 8.0.2 update, which is available now to download, will fix any issues experience by those who installed the iOS 8.0.1 update.
